Katie at 39 Weeks!

39 weeks and we are still pregnant. I saw my doctor on Tuesday. The baby's head is down farther than last week but is still really high. I was not dilated and the cervix was not thin yet. I knew she was very happy were she was and did not want to come out. The plan is for me to see the doctor on Thursday the 29th so he can check the cervix. If the baby does not come by Friday the 30th he will induce labor. He would like to go straight to the potocin but may need to place a gel on the cervix to thin it out first. Not much going on with me this week. This was my first week off work and I did end up getting a cold. I was out of commission for 3 days but I am starting to feel a little better now. I swear my belly has doubled in size since last week so I hope the baby comes before Friday. I afraid to think how big it will be by Friday if it grew so much in one week.
