At 11pm, our doctor dropped by and broke Katie's water since it didn't seem like it was going to happen on its own. She was in quite a bit of pain for the next 15mins or so until the anesthetiologist was able to work his magic and get her much needed drugs (epidural). It's midnight now and she's in a calm and relaxed state. Hopefully she can get some sleep before the pushing begins..

I'm so glad for the updates, this is the 2nd time I'm up tonight and was afraid to call. I hope the epidural is working - isn't it wonderful! Pitocin can rock your world. I hope you get a little sleep before you push - I'll be checking back. Thinking about you a lot and picturing your gorgeous, perfect girl :-)
Love,
Kori
