This was my last week of maternity leave. Mya and I spent most of our days at home. She now holds her toy links in her hands, but only when I put them there. She will stare at them and try and put them in her mouth. Mya is cooing more each day. She likes to stand on my lap and watch my mouth and coo back. Tummy time is going a little better. Mya can lift her head up pretty high now. She still does not like to be on her tummy to long.
On Friday we met Daddy for lunch and went shopping for furniture. Mommy was going to bring Mya to her office to pick up paper work for Monday and so her co workers could meet Mya in person. Unfortunately Mya had enough for the day and was hot and tired so we had to go home instead. We are going to have a web conference with Aunt Tammy, who lives in Australia tonight and watch the Olympics afterwards. Grandma Radcliffe called to say they were very excited to come to Arizona tomorrow. Also that Mya's cousin Leah was still hoping that Grandma and Grandpa would bring Mya back with them this time. Leah even offered to trade her little sister Emme for Mya. I talked to Leah later that day and Leah said she really wants to see Mya in person. Leah is counting the weeks until she can meet her in September.
