Mya's Week Of First

On Monday June 30, Mya celebrated her first Canada Day (one day early) with her Grandma and Grandpa Button. Grandma made a great cake that looked like the Canadian Flag. Grandma took pictures of everyone dressed in their Canada shirts. Tuesday Mya had to say good bye to Grandma and Grandpa Button. It was a sad day for everyone but they will be back in September. Mya also slept through the night for the first time Tuesday night! On Wednesday, Mya's friend Brianna came over with her mom Kathleen. It was Brianna's first trip to Mya's house. Mommy and Kathleen had fun talking while the girls alternated sleeping, feeding and crying. Wednesday was also Mya's first bath. She did really well and did not cry. Mommy needed Daddy's help because it was hard for her to hold onto a slippery baby. Friday was Mya's first Fourth of July. We went over to Joe and Kathleen's house for a BBQ and to go to a drive in movie. Daddy took Mya for her first swim in the pool. Brianna is already a pro at swimming in the pool. Mya had a serious look on her face and was not sure what to think of the pool while Brianna had a blast kicking her feet. Unfortunately it started to thunder and lighting so it was a short swim. The drive in movie was off also so the parents played poker instead. And now it is time for 2 slide shows! (the first is Mya's first bath and the second is Mya visiting Brianna's house for her first swim)
