Pool Party

On Friday Daddy, Uncle Bill and his friend from Tucson woke up at 4:00am to go hiking on CamelBack Mountain. Unfortunately it rained all night so they went back to bed because a lot of roads were flooded. Around 10:00am they decided to attempt the hike since the rain had stopped. Everyone made it to the top and survived the heat. Mommy and Aunt Kori stayed home and babysat Brianna so Kathleen could get her hair cut. Aunt Kori and Uncle Bill cooked salmon on the grill that night. Then the Daddies took Mya and Mason into the pool for a swim. Mya was able to wear her new bathing suit and Mason loved the turtle raft. Saturday was the Daddy's day to watch Mya and Mason while Mommy and Aunt Kori went to get pedicures. We all went to Raw Sushi for lunch and Mya and Mason were perfect children at the restaurant. Later on that day Kathleen, Joe and Brianna came over for a BBQ. Mason and Brianna went swimming with their Daddies while Mya ate. The adults played Guitar Hero (Aerosmith edition) later that night on the Wii. Sunday Mya woke up smiling. She is starting to smile more and track links (her new favorite toy). Mya's head control is getting better and is tolerating tummy time a little more. It is starting to look as if Mya may be a redhead. I have to emphasize "may" because every time I tell someone what her hair color is the next day it looks different. Aunt Kori, Uncle Bill and Mason left today to go to Sedona and then to the Grand Canyon. They will be back on Tuesday. Mommy talked to Grandma Radcliffe today and they are on their way home from the beach. It sounds like everyone at the beach had a great time.
